
Lois M. Sullivan passed peacefully from this life on Friday, May 11th, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. She was the daughter of the late Felix and Mary Kasprow of Newington.
She is survived by her faithful and loving husband of sixty-two years, Kenneth J. Sullivan. She leaves a son, Keith J. Sullivan with whom she shared a very special mother-son bond of East Hampton. His girlfriend, Ms. Michele Duval, of East Haven. A daughter, Karen, and son-in-law, Mark Hollis of Newington, and one very special granddaughter, Erin Faye, who gave her great joy! Lois is survived by her brother, Robert Kasprow, his wife, Julia Kasprow, and family.
During her life, Lois, was a hard working employee at the court house in New Britain. Lois worked in the Housing Session treating all with compassion while serving the State of Connecticut. She was a graduate of Hillyer College, and New Britain High School where she met her husband, Kenneth and their love story began.

A faithful partner to an educator, a wonderful mother and example to her granddaughter, Erin, Lois will be sorely missed both in Westbrook, where she spent her summers, and on Golf Street in Newington where she and Kenneth made their home.
Her life and funeral will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 16, at 10:30 AM at Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial, 20 Bonair Ave, Newington, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM at Church of the Holy Spirit. Entombment will follow the Mass at St. Mary's Mausoleum. Relatives and friends are welcome to call for visitation on Tuesday, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Newington Memorial.
