Newington Obituary: Lydia O'Neil, 95

Lydia Yawin O'Neil, 95, of Newington, passed peacefully on Monday, January 29th at St. Francis Hospital after a short illness.

Devoted wife of the late Herbert P. O'Neil and loving mother of four, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia O'Neil Tiezzi and Thomas Tiezzi of Wethersfield; her son and his girlfriend, Jeremiah O'Neil and Dorrie Richards of Plainville; her son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Suzanne O'Neil of Seminole, FL; and her daughter, Mary O'Neil of Newington. She is also survived by her sister, Sylvia Lindgren of New Britain and her adored granddaughters, Grace Tiezzi of West Hartford and Hope Tiezzi of Bronx, NY, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Lydia will be held directly at the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield on Friday, February 2nd at 12:00 p.m. She will be lovingly laid to rest in West Meadow Cemetery in Newington alongside her husband.
