Newington Obituary: Mary Pepi, 92

Mary (Listro) Pepi, 92, of Newington, passed peacefully into eternal life on Tuesday, May 17, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo Pepi.

Born in Hartford, daughter of the late Paul and Jennie (Mirmina) Liistro, she was a longtime resident of Newington. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, and listening to Red Sox games.

A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she leaves her daughter, Jeanne Hart of Newington and her three grandchildren Christopher Brennan, Amy Brennan, and Jennifer Hart. She also leaves her two brothers, John Listro of Kensington and Sebastian Listro and his wife Marie of Southington. She was predeceased by her six siblings, Santina Marinelli, Frank, Joseph, Ernest, Paul and Michael Liistro.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 20th, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Church. She will be laid to rest following the mass in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Britain. There will be no calling hours.
