Mary M. (Amara) Tolisano, 98, of Hartford, beloved wife of the late Charles A. Tolisano, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2016 at Jefferson House of Newington.
Mary was born on July 6, 1918 in Middletown to Louis and Josephine (Cipriano) Amara. Mary moved to the South End of Hartford, where she and Charles raised their family and she resided the rest of her life.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary leaves behind her daughter-in-law, Sandra Tolisano, two grandchildren; Tracy Feldman of Guilford and Thomas Tolisano and his wife Karin of Newington and her four great-grandchildren; Tori, Nico, Brooke and Carly. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her two children, Charles P. Tolisano of Newington and Carol Morretti of Hartford; her brother Joseph Amara and sister Rose (Amara) Buckie.
