Newington Obituary: Paul McKone, 57

Paul Martin McKone, 57, of Bristol, passed away on September 10, 2017.

The beloved son of William P. McKone and Delores (Bechard) McKone, he graduated from Newington High School. Paul studied neon sign making in Rhode Island and worked for many years bending glass, specializing in commercial signage.

Paul was a gentle and kind person who enjoyed and valued time with his family. He had a quick and intelligent wit, read widely and relished a good discussion. His summers in Maine with family and friends held a special place in his heart.

He is survived by his three siblings and their families: Peter and Patti McKone, Mary McKone and Fateh Azzam, Chris and Silvia McKone, his uncle Raymond Bechard, as well as his cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to a gathering on Wednesday September 27th from 4:30 to 7:00 at the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington. Burial will be private.
