Newington Obituary: Rosina Tolisano, 89

Rosina Tolisano, 89, of Newington, beloved wife for 41 years of the late Antonio Tolisano, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 17, 2016.

Born on December 8, 1926 in Saracena, Province of Cosenza, Calabria, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Angela (Gagliardi) Tolisano. Rosina worked for more than 20 years for the State of CT Department of Transportation.

She will be dearly missed by her son, Dominic Tolisano and daughter, Lisa Tolisano, both of Newington; a nephew, Rocco LaCava and wife Innocenza of Hartford; grandnephew, Robert LaCava of Hartford and two great-grand-nieces, Angela Mouta of New York, NY and Melanie Mouta of Glastonbury. In addition to her husband and parents, Rosina was predeceased by two brothers, Leonardo and Antonio; two sisters, Maddelena and Vincenza and a grandniece, Madeline LaCava Mouta.

Funeral services and burial will be private and there are no calling hours.
