Newington Obituary: Theodore Lezon, 87

Theodore E. (Teddy) Lezon, 87, of Newington, passed away on June 9, 2016 in New Britain. 

Teddy was born in Poland and immigrated to the United States in 1952 with his wife Gina. In his early years he worked at Travelers Insurance followed by employment at Atlantic Tool, until his retirement in 1993. He loved animals and belonged to the American Racing Pigeon Union for many years. Teddy was a volunteer at the Newington Senior Center for over 15 years and enjoyed playing pool with his friends. 

He had 3 children and 5 grandchildren; Joe and Julie (late) and their daughters Amelia and Jessica of Marlborough, Chris Carter and her husband Randy and their daughters Jeanette and Michelle of Virginia, and Julian and his son Maxwell of Wallingford. Teddy also had two brothers, Benny of Enfield and Ed and Marie of South Windsor and one sister, Marie and Tony Wasikowski of South Windsor. A brother in law Charlie Tesz and his wife Michelle, and many nieces and nephews also mourn his loss. May he rest in peace and join his departed wife Gina for eternity with our Lord. 

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6-8 p.m. at the Molloy Funeral Home, 906 Farmington Ave. West Hartford on Monday, June 13. His Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, June 14, at 9 a.m. directly at S.S. Cyril and Methodist Church, 63 F.J. Popieluszko Ct., Hartford. Interment will follow at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
