Newington Obituary: Theresa Banks, 81

Theresa M. (Drydol) Banks, 81, of Newington, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Edgar David Banks.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Edward and Nellie (Basta) Drydol, she was a longtime Newington resident. Prior to her retirement, Theresa was employed by Ames Department Store. Theresa loved Broadway musicals with her favorite of all time being The Phantom of Opera. She was a culinary enthusiast and a excellent cook. She would always look forward to her next adventure!

A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she leaves her son, Russell D. Banks and his wife Mariapia of Wethersfield, her daughter, Diana L. Topa and her husband Richard of Higganum, her four grandchildren, Kasha, Breanna, Kassandrah and Tristen, and her great granddaughter Katia. She also leaves her brother, Edward Drydol and his wife Sharon of South Abbington, PA.

All funeral services will be private.
