
Ursula "Uschi" Marko passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, November 10.
She was born in Breslau, Germany on July 28, 1935 to the late Sally and Fritz Hollunder. Ursula was predeceased by Jerry, her husband of 47 years. Together, they had built a loving home in Newington where they lived for many years and enjoyed many celebrations with family and friends. She worked at Fafnir Bearing in New Britain for many years until retirement and was an active member in the German-American community.
Ursula is survived by her daughter Simone Baillargeon and husband Dennis, her son Michael Marko and wife Michelle, her grandchildren Karina, Nicole, Erika and Nicholas, her sister Karin and husband Herbert Null, her niece Ramona Saturno and her husband John and children, her nephew Thomas Null and children, her sister Erika and husband Rudolf Fuchs, as well as their children and grandchildren in Germany. She will also be dearly missed by her many friends in America and Germany.

Her family would also like to thank the staff at Bel-Air Manor in Newington for her care over the past several months.
Calling hours will be at Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial, 20 Bonair Ave, Newington on Thursday, November 17 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM with a small service held at 6:00 PM. Burial will be private.
