Newington Parks And Grounds Division Seeks Seasonal Help

The Newington Parks and Recreation Department is recruiting seasonal Park staff for summer employment. All applicants should be at least 18 years of age with a valid Connecticut driver’s license.

They will be required to perform a variety of tasks which may include the use of hand tools, power equipment, such as string trimmers, leaf blowers and mowers, picking up litter and assisting in athletic field maintenance, cemetery upkeep and grounds maintenance on Town facilities and parks.
The hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The salary range starts at $14.25 per hour.
