Newington Police Help Check off Another Box on Gracie Lou's Bucket List With a Ride in a Cruiser

NEWINGTON, CT — Check off another box on Gracie Lou's Bucket List — this time it was riding in a police cruiser.

NBC Connecticut's Heidi Voight and Newington police officers Jamie DeSimone and Michael Fallon were able to host Gracie Lou, boxer, and her owner, Jennifer, this week at the department.

After her four-legged best friend was diagnosed with terminal cancer, Jennifer has been a mission to turn every day into an adventure for Gracie Lou. precious moments into comforting memories.
