Update: Missing Autistic Teen Found, Newington Police Say

NEWINGTON, CT — Local police were looking for a 14-year-old autistic teen who went missing today and, thankfully, he has now been found.

Shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday, the Newington Police Department put out an alert that it is seeking a 14-year-old autistic boy.

According to police, the boy lived in the HIllcrest Avenue area of town.

At about 3:50 p.m., Newington police posted a social media alert saying the teen has been found.

"The missing child has been located. Thank you for your assistance," wrote the NPD.
