NEWINGTON, CT — A Newington resident is $50,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in Newington earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
On October 26, Brett Backman, of Newington, purchased a Deluxe ticket from the Newington Food Land and won $50,000.
