Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Newington Crash
A pedestrian was struck by a car on the Berlin Turnpike over the weekend.
NEWINGTON, CT — A person suffered serious injuries when a car struck a pedestrian on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington, FOX 61 reported. Police received the call reporting the crash at 9:38 p.m. Saturday.
The pedestrian was injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment. The crash investigation closed the southbound side of the Berlin Turnpike from Kitts Lane to Main Street for several hours, FOX 61 reported.
The road has since reopened.
