Poison Ivy Photo of Newington Woman Goes Viral
The woman's sister posted a photo with her eyes swollen shut on Twitter, and tens of thousands of people have viewed and/or re-tweeted it.
NEWINGTON, CT - A Twitter photo of a Newington woman whose eyes are swollen shut due to poison ivy has gone viral, NBC Connecticut reported.
The photo of Emily Petrozza, 21, taken and posted by her teenage sister, Lauren on her personal Twitter page with the caption, "DON'T GET POISON IVY ON YOUR EYES," has been re-tweeted more than 33,000 times and "loved" by more than 57,000.
Lauren took the photo of her sister just before Emily went to a walk-in clinic to receive treatment for poison ivy, which started on her arm and quickly spread to her face.

Fox61 said Emily took medication for two days and is now able to open her eyes.
