Police Arrest 3 Juvenile Suspected Newington Car Thieves: Report

WEST HARTFORD, CT - Police said they captured three juveniles Tuesday charged in a recent Newington car theft, NBC Connecticut reported.

Newington police had reached out to the West Hartford Police Department on Tuesday morning to be on the lookout for a stolen gray Volvo S60, according to NBC Connecticut. Officers later spotted the car on Newington Road in West Hartford.

Officers put down stop sticks, but they were initially ineffective in stopping the vehicle, NBC Connecticut. The car later was disabled and police arrested the driver and two passengers after a brief pursuit on foot.
