Popular Food Truck Opens Newington Location
A food truck known for its fried chicken sandwiches has opened a location in Newington.
NEWINGTON, CT — Craftbird Food Truck now has a storefront in Newington, according to Greenwich Time. The eatery's menu includes creative chicken sandwiches, tenders, wings, and sides.
Eric Stagl left his executive chef role at West Hartford's Barcelona Wine Bar to start Craftbird in 2016, Greenwich Time reported.
According to Craftbird's website, the food truck "quickly became one of the most wanted trucks in the greater Hartford area and across Connecticut and haven't taken their foot off the gas since!" They added a second truck in 2019.

Then the Newington brick-and-mortar location opened in September on Main Street with the name Craftbird Sandos and Tenders.
