Shots Fired Investigated In Newington: Police
Police said several shots were fired at a vehicle in the parking lot of a motor lodge in Newington.
NEWINGTON, CT — Several shots were fired at an unoccupied vehicle in the parking lot of the Grantmoor Motor Lodge in Newington early Sunday morning, according to police.
Police responded to the motor lodge at 3000 Berlin Turnpike around 5 a.m. on the report of shots fired.
“Responding officers investigated and determined that multiple shots from a firearm were fired into an unoccupied motor vehicle parked in the Grantmoor parking lot,” police wrote in a news release. “No one was injured in the shooting.”
