Newington Library 5K Challenge Road Race- Sunday, October 3 at 9:00 am at Mill Pond Park/Garfield Street in Newington CT. Bill Rodgers, 4-time winner of the Boston Marathon and NYC Marathon, as well as a former Newington resident, will be our guest. He will be running in the race and selling and signing his Book Marathon Man and a Boston Marathon poster after the race. Register online, download the form from the library's website or pick up a form at the library. The first 250 registrants will receive a dri-fit t-shirt. All race participants will be eligible to win one of the race prizes. COVID protocols will be in place. All proceeds from this annual fundraiser will benefit the library.
