Man Had Over 15 Pounds Of Drugs In New London, Police Say

NEW LONDON, CT — Police said they found over 15 pounds of drugs in a search of an apartment.

Local, state and federal police searched a Bank Street apartment Thursday morning, according to a police statement.

The search was part of an ongoing investigation.

Police said they found fentanyl, cocaine, crack cocaine, pills, MDMA, methamphetamine and percocet during the search, along with $49,091 in cash.

Robert McIntear, 38, of Gales Ferry, was charged with six counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell, six counts of possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and operation of a drug factory.
