NEW LONDON, CT — Police are investigating after shots were fired in New London late Thursday night.
Police responded to a call reporting gunfire in the area of Ocean Avenue and Beech Drive at 11:35 p.m.
Officers found evidence that shots had been fired.
No injuries were reported.
Police said the incident does not appear to be a random act.
The investigation remains active.
