2nd Location Of Popular Ice Cream Shop To Open In New Milford
A Granby ice cream store featuring unique flavors will open a store in New Milford this month.
NEW MILFORD, CT — An ice cream shop featuring an array of unique flavors will open in New Milford in a couple of weeks. Grassroots Ice Cream is opening its second location, with the original store in Granby.
The shop's owners are Ridgefield resident Mark Sproule and Granby resident Brandon Pappalardo, according to The Ridgefield Press. Grassroots features gourmet flavors like honey lavender, boysenberry jasmine, and lemon raspberry braid along with kid-friendly flavors like pancakes and maple syrup and PB brownie.
The New Milford store will open at 12 Bank St. on April 27. The shop will be open Thursday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for two weeks, then from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week beginning May 11, according to The Ridgefield Press.
