3 Suspects Break Into Vehicles In New Milford: Police
Police said the attempted vehicle break-ins occurred on two streets over the weekend.
NEW MILFORD, CT — Police are searching for three suspects accused of breaking into vehicles in New Milford. The suspects were seen entering vehicles and garages in the Hawthorne Lane area at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
They arrived and left in a blue Subaru or Hyundai. Three young men wearing face masks and hoodies left the car and ran up to vehicles in driveways and appeared to enter vehicles in garages.
The suspects left after a homeowner scared them away.

A short time later, police said the suspects were "possibly observed" in the Prospect Street area of New Milford again attempting to break into vehicles.
Police said it is not known if anything was stolen.

"The New Milford Police Department reminds everyone to please lock vehicles and keep homes secured to prevent these types of events and to call the New Milford Police Department if any suspicious activity is observed," police wrote.
