Accountant Stole $25K From Client: New Milford Police
An accountant is accused of stealing $25,000 from one of his clients, according to police.
NEW MILFORD, CT — A New Milford accountant is accused of stealing $25,000 from one of his clients, according to police.
Carl Benjamin Anderson of Anderson Accounting and Finance LLC was arrested Dec. 22 on a warrant by New Milford police.
Police said a lengthy investigation by the New Milford Police Department, the Internal Revenue Service and the State Department of Banking found that Anderson stole $25,000 from one of his clients.

Anderson was charged with first-degree larceny. He was released after posting a $100,000 bond with a court date of Jan. 3.
Police said they are “actively investigating additional complaints made against Anderson Accounting and Finance LLC.”
