• Mass. man dies after rock climbing fall on Appalachian Trail in Conn. (boston.com) — A climber who fell while rock climbing near the Appalachian Trail in Kent was taken to New Milford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The 30-year-old Massachusetts resident had previously lived in Warren, and state environmental and police officials are still investigating the cause and circumstances of the fall.
