Blaze Engulfs New Milford Apartment
The family of four awoke to the sound of smoke alarms at 4 a.m.

NEW MILFORD, CT — A fire engulfed the apartent of a family of four Thursday morning, leaving them homeless, the News Times is reporting. No injuries have been reported.
The blaze began around 4 a.m. in a legal apartment that was located above a detached garage on Kent Road. Officials say the fire was electrical in nature, and appeared to have started in a bathroom ceiling fixture.
The residents of the apartment awoke to the smoke alarm and called 911.
