Obituary: Carlin R. Hausmann, 20, of New Milford

Carlin was attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where he was an Engineering student.

NEW MILFORD, CT -- Carlin R. Hausmann passed away at Daytona Beach, FL on May 4, at the age of 20.

Carlin is lovingly remembered by his father, Nathaniel J. Cybulski of Hilton Head Island, SC, mother, Lindsay Hausmann of New Milford, CT, brother Mason, grandparents, Ray and Diane Cybulski of Hilton Head Island, SC and Robert and Eleanor Hausmann of Winter Haven, FL and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Carlin was attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where he was an Engineering student. Carlin will be remembered for his infectious smile, his evening walks through campus, his generous and caring nature and his strong work ethic. Carlin never quit in the face of adversity even if the odds were tipped against him. A true gentleman, his life exemplified his love and respect for his family, friends, community and country.

Carlin will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched and especially by his very special friend, Dana Ruchti.

A mass of Christian burial was commemorated at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Cocoa, FL. Interment followed at Daytona Memorial Park, Daytona Beach, FL. The family of Carlin Hausmann wishes to thank Rev. David Keck, the faculty, staff and students of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for their loving support and Fathers Tim and Edwin and the parishioners of the Basilica of Saint Paul Catholic Church, Daytona Beach, for their prayers, support and generosity towards the family during this difficult time.
