Derpy Dog Photo Event to Help Shelter Dogs on December 7th
Local Businesswomen Give Back
Derpy dogs have taken over the Internet. Derpy dogs make funny faces, their tongues hang out, they run into walls, trip over their own feet, and fall asleep in strange places. Now, you can have your dog be a true Derp and help rescue dogs at the same time!
On Saturday, December 7, 2019, from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., three Connecticut based women-run businesses are teaming up to support rescue dogs. One hundred percent of the $100 session fee will be donated to beCAUSE 4 PAWS, to help accomplish their missing of “Saving Lives…4 Paws at a Time” and giving all their animals an extra PAWesome holiday season. This donation covers the session and includes an 8x12 print of the owner’s favorite photograph!
The three businesses include beCAUSE 4 PAWS at 2 Old Park Lane Road in New Milford, where the event will be held, Melissa Rodriques of Dog Training from MARZ, who will be on hand to help get the pups ready for their close ups, and Mary Beth Wood from Capture Photography, who will use her unique talent as a dog-mom and pet photographer to take the photographs.

“We wanted to find a way to combine our talents and our love for dogs,” Wood said. “We hope that this event will not only give back to the rescue but that it will remind people they have the option to adopt, and not shop, this holiday season.”
30 minute sessions are available from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at beCAUSE 4 PAWS located at 2 Old Park Lane Road in New Milford, CT. For more information about this event, please call Mary Beth Wood at 203-906-8000 or email marybeth@capturect.com. To schedule your time slot simply click here.
