Fundraiser Started To Support Victims Of New Milford Crash

A fundraiser has been started after a motorcycle crash left a man dead and a woman in critical condition.

NEW MILFORD, CT — A fundraiser has been started to support the family of a man killed in a New Milford accident and cover medical expenses for a woman critically injured in the crash.

Brandon Forlastro, 22, was driving a motorcycle on Danbury Road on Sunday morning and collided with a pickup truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The GoFundMe was started by Sarah Gelish and Vanessa Lynch.

The page reads: "Yesterday, on what was supposed to be a day of celebration, Brandon Forlastro’s 22nd birthday, turned into his parents worst nightmare. Brandon was killed upon impact in a motorcycle accident in New Milford, CT. He was on the way to celebrate with his friends with his girlfriend Brianna Medina. Brianna is currently in critical condition. There are no words to explain this tragedy. No parent should ever have to lose their child or see them fight for their life. Brandon touched lives around the world and will be missed tremendously. Please keep Brianna and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

"The funds collected here today will pay for medical assistance for Brianna as well as the memorial and funeral services for Brandon."
