Girlfriend Kidnapped, Beaten By New Milford Man: Police

Police said an 18-year old New Milford man has been charged with beating and kidnapping his girlfriend.

NEW MILFORD, CT - Police said an 18-year old New Milford man has been charged with beating and kidnapping his girlfriend, newstimes.com reported. The suspect appeared in court Friday on charges resulting from the incident, which police said may have left the victim with internal cranial bleeding.

Police said Paul “Stormy” Pacheco kicked his unidentified girlfriend and hit her in the head last Thursday, according to newstimes.com. He then took the victim's phone and ID before forcing her into his car and driving away. After tracing the cellphone and locating the vehicle, police said the victim was found injured and bloodied in the passenger seat, newstimes.com reported. Pacheco was arrested and later taken to jail, where police said he slammed his head into cell bars and walls.
