High-Ranking New Milford Cop Under Investigation

NEW MILFORD, CT -- The Police Department's spokesman and media liaison, who is one of the town’s top ranking cops, is the subject an internal police investigation, the News Times has reported.

Larry Ash has been placed on administrative leave stemming from a complaint received recently through the department’s tip line.

State Police are assisting with the inquiry, but there has been no confirmation as to the nature of the complaint or whether it is criminal.

Ash has been a police officer for 31 years.
