The New Milford PD has received enough tips through social media to serve 34 warrants last month alone.
NEW MILFORD, CT --- The police are using every tool at their disposal to reduce the number of outstanding warrants, and now that includes Facebook as well. The New Milford PD began posting information about outstanding warrants on the social media platform in March.
Since beginning the online initiative, the department has received enough tips through social media to serve 34 warrants, according to the New Milford Spectrum.
