Man Charged In Arson Fire In New Milford: Police
The man was arrested in connection with an arson fire at a home in New Milford, according to police.
NEW MILFORD, CT — A Danbury man has been arrested in connection with an arson fire in New Milford last March, according to police.
On March 31, police said crews from the Gaylordsville Fire Department, Sherman Fire Department, Kent Fire Department, Water Witch Hose Company, and Northville Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire in the 600 block of Kent Road in the Gaylordsville section of New Milford.
Members of the New Milford Fire Marshal’s Office, Connecticut State Police Fire & Explosion Investigation Unit, and New Milford Police Department went to the scene to investigate, according to police.

Police said the fire was determined to be “incendiary in nature.”
Jeremy M. Rawson, 54, was arrested Jan. 25 on a warrant and charged with first-degree arson and first-degree criminal mischief. He was being held in lieu of a $200,000 bond with a court date of March 6, according to state judicial records.
