Memorial Services Announced for Triple Murder Victims
Police say the killer had previously murdered the infant son he had by his daughter in an incestuous relationship.

NEW MILFORD, CT -- Memorial services have been announced for the Dover, NY man and his adopted daughter who were shot last week while they were driving east along Route 55 near the intersection with Route 7.
Anthony Fusco, 56, and Katie Pladl, 20, were killed by Pladl’s biological father, Steven Walter Pladl, 45, police said. Pladl committed suicide shortly afterward in Dover, NY. Pladl had driven to Connecticut from his home near Raleigh, NC, with intent to kill his daughter and Fucso. Police say he had previously killed the infant son he had by his daughter in an incestuous relationship.
Fusco's obituary indicates he had worked as a corrections officer at the Federal Correctional Institute in Danbury. After retirement, he continued to work part-time as a security guard at the Cricket Valley Energy Center in Dover, NY. He had served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was an active member of the American Legion Post #1949 in Wingdale, NY.

According to her obituary, Fusco's adopted daughter, Katie Pladl, graduated from Dover High School two years ago. She was working as a freelance artist prior her death.
Calling hours for Anthony Fusco, Katie Plaidl and her infant son Bennett Kieron Pladl will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 20, at the Hufcut Funeral Home in Dover Plains, NY. The following morning, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Dover Plains.
