The Meryall Center Announces 'The Coffeehouse Series' Lineup

For their first ever coffeehouse, New Milford's Merryall Center welcomes Sherman resident Don Lowe.

Merryall is excited to announce “The Coffeehouse Series” featuring local artists in an intimate setting.

For our first ever coffeehouse, we are thrilled to welcome Sherman resident Don Lowe. Please feel free to bring beverages (Coffee provided) and snacks to munch on while you listen to Don’s quirky brand of humor and his heartfelt ballads. Advance tickets are $10 on the website and $15 at the door.

Don Lowe’s brand of Americana music explores life with songs that are at turns witty, arcane, sad, and sometimes, downright silly. He has been featured in venues across the US and has opened for national acts such Livingston Taylor, Steve Forbert, Kenny White, Toby Walker, Tim Grimm, Danielle Miraglia, David Jacobs-Strain, Johnny A, The Dana Fuchs Band, and Maria Sebastian among many others.

Since 2009, he has been the open mic host for the venerable Towne Crier Café now located in Beacon, NY and he hosts a radio show for Pawling Public Radio that features local independent musical artists.
