Missing Child by Candlewood Lake Causes Stir

NEW MILFORD, CT — Connecticut State Police took to social media to say they were searching for a 4-year-old missing child last seen in the area of Candlewood Lake.

The child was found, safe and uninjured, less than a half-hour later near his home, but not before Troop A, the New Fairfield PD, the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and K-9 patrols were all deployed to the area.

The child, Blake Taylor, was reported missing in New Fairfield and last seen in the area of 34 Candlewood Road in New Fairfield.
