New Milford Attorney In Trouble With CT Judiciary: Report

Multiple grievances were filed with the state against the local lawyer.

NEW MILFORD, CT — New Milford attorney Ann E. Fisher, an attorney in Connecticut since 1979, has relinquished her law license after multiple accusations of professional misconduct in the handling of certain financial matters, reports the Greenwich Time.

In one instance, a grievance was filed against Fisher with the state judicial branch in connection with allegations that she may have mishandled a $300,000 estate, according to the publication.

Another grievance was filed against her with the state group by a New York property owner who never received the legal services they said she claimed she would provide. Fisher claimed to the bar that health issues and a divorce affected her ability to work.
