New Milford Budget Passed by Voters

Turnout was nearly double from last year.

NEW MILFORD, CT — Voters approved the $101 million budget Tuesday.

The school's portion of the budget passed narrowly with a margin of 1,403 to 1,342 while the town's margin was larger at 1,469 to 1,279, according to the News-Times.

Turnout was nearly 17 percent, which is about double the previous year.
