New Milford Looking for Public Input on Street Plan
A workshop with the town's "Complete Streets" consultant is scheduled for next Tuesday night.

NEW MILFORD, CT --- Town officials are soliciting input from residents on their Complete Streets initiative, which will will be discussed at a public workshop at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, at the Pettibone Community Center’s cafeteria. The workshop will be co-hosted by representatives from AECOM, New Milford’s Complete Streets consultant.
Complete Streets are meant to provide safe access for all users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists and transit riders, regardless of age or ability. Plans are modified on a community-by-community basis, as one size does not fit all. New Milford and AECOM will eventually create a Complete Streets Master Plan, based upon the input received from residents.
The town is encouraging residents to fill out an online survey.
