New Milford Man Accused Of Taking $3K In Contracting Scam: Report

A New Milford man is facing charges that he took money for contracting work that he never completed, according to a report.

NEW MILFORD, CT — A New Milford man is facing charges that he took $3,000 from a Bolton resident but did not complete any work, according to The Journal-Inquirer. Frank Scalia, 34, was charged with second-degree larceny.

Scalia also faces numerous other charges in courthouses in Torrington, New Britain, and Norwich.

The Bolton homeowner put a $3,000 deposit down for Scalia to repair his barn last November but is accused of not completing the work.
