New Milford Man Drove Drunk to Police Station, Cops Say: Report

New Milford police say a local man was arrested after he drove drunk to the police station Sunday.

NEW MILFORD, CT — A local man is accused of driving drunk to the police station on Sunday, reports the News Times.

Police say that Gregory Barton, 56, drove to the police station drunk to file a lost wallet complaint. Officers helping Barton file the complaint smelt alcohol on his breath, and asked him to take a sobriety test.

Barton later became belligerent, police say, which led to his arrest.
