New Milford Man Faces Operating a Drug Factory Charge

A man is facing charges after police said they found crack-cocaine and a loaded handgun at his home.

NEW MILFORD, CT — A New Milford man is facing gun and drug charges, according to state police. Police executed a search warrant at 568 Danbury Road Apt. 2, the home of James Anderson, 37, on Feb. 23 at 10 a.m.

Police said they found "numerous items associated with the distribution of crack-cocaine" as well as a fully loaded 9 mm Smith & Wesson handgun, cash, 155.5 grams of marijuana packaged for sale, and a digital scale.

Anderson was charged with possession with intent to sell, operation of a drug factory, criminal possession of a revolver, and other charges.

He was held on $500,000 bond.
