New Milford Mayor Touts New Nature Preserve

NEW MILFORD, CT - New Milford Mayor David Gronbach discussed the latest on the town's next nature preserve on his Facebook page. Here's what he said:

"NEW MILFORD'S SOON TO BE NEWEST NATURE PRESERVE! What a great day to tour Native Meadows Preserve with Curtis Read. Curtis has been working for years with the NW Conservation District and various government agencies to not only aquire the Preserve, but prepare it for public use. Thank you to our Parks and Rec Department that mowed the main trail. We will be working on others to gain easier access to the River across from the River Walk. A Grand Tour will be scheduled soon!"
