New Milford Nurse Fined by the State: Report
The state Board of Examiners for Nursing recently announced the fine.

NEW MILFORD, CT — Registered Nurses from New Milford and Naugatuck were among three recently reprimanded by the state Board of Examiners for Nursing, reports Connecticut Health I-Team.
RN Michael Mase of New Milford was fined $3,000 and his license was placed on probation for a year after a guilty plea for conspiracy to distribute and intent to sell steroids, writes I-Team's Kate Farrish. Mase, who admitted he took steroids for powerlifting, must also submit to random drug tests.
Naugatuck resident and RN Tracy Kane's license was placed on probation for three years, and she also must submit to random drug tests, for testing positive for alcohol in 2016 when she was prohibited from drinking from a prior probation.
