New Milford Open Houses Oct. 10-11: A Litchfield Hills Estate, A Gardener's Cottage And 10 More

NEW MILFORD, CT — New Milford's 12 open houses this weekend include a cottage with a lofted studio in the shop and a koi pond, a modern farmhouse on 13 acres bordered by 54 acres of protected land and a log-style Cape with western sunsets. There's also a 2020 home designed by a local architect and designer team.

Twelve New Milford homes are holding open houses Saturday, Oct. 10, and Sunday, Oct. 11, with prices from $389,000 to $1.8 million, according to Zillow.com.

Saturday, Oct. 10

12 Mountain View Ave., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., $529,000. This 1987 contemporary sits on 2.15 level, private acres with mountain views and a 20-by-40-foot inground pool with a new liner. It has vaulted ceilings with beams and a skylight, a living room with both a fireplace and a wood stove, and a lower-level bedroom and full bath. It's a three-bedroom, two-bath home with 2,018 square feet. Its price was cut by $20,000 on Oct. 7.

427 Long Mountain Road, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (also Sunday, noon to 2 p.m.), $875,000.
