New Milford PD Arrest Woman on Drugs, Weapon, Charges

Police report they found her slumped over the wheel of her vehicle on the side of the road.

NEW MILFORD, CT — Police arrested a woman on a variety of drug charges after receiving a call about a vehicle stopped off a road.

On Dec. 13 at approximately 8:34 a.m., police responded to a call about a driver slumped over a steering wheel in a vehicle stopped off a roadway near Sunny Valley Lane. When they arrived on the scene, officers found an unresponsive woman in a still-running vehicle.

Police awakened the driver, Tiffany Larmore, 33, who they say appeared to be under the influence of a narcotic. She was given several field sobriety tests which police report that she failed.

Upon searching Larmore's vehicle, police report they found a "substantial" quantity of powder cocaine and items commonly associated with the distribution of drugs, such as a digital scale coated with a white residue. Larmore was later found to be in possession of 60 bags of suspected heroin and a "substantial" amount of cash. Police noted that some drug paraphernalia discovered was hidden inside a false-bottom beverage can.

Larmore was charged with DUI, three counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, weapons in a vehicle, narcotics not kept in original container, and possession of narcotic substance with intent to sell or distribute. She was held on $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Torrington Superior Court on Dec. 21.
