New Milford PD Issues Warning on Car Burglaries
Unlocked vehicles were entered and items stolen.

NEW MILFORD, CT — The police are reminding residents to lock their cars after several vehicles in town were burglarized over the past weekend.
New Milford police say unlocked vehicles were entered and items stolen overnight on Sunday Jan. 6 into Monday Jan. 7.
Police are recommending exterior house lights on a motion sensor, car alarms and, of course, locked car doors as effective deterrents.

On social media, the police urged: "If you see or hear something out of the ordinary please call us (or your local police department or Troop). Our routine number is 860-355-3133."
