New Milford Police Launch Probe Into School Employee’s Interactions With Student: PD
The investigation centers on a claim of "inappropriate communications," according to police.
NEW MILFORD, CT — Police say they are investigating whether a local school employee engaged in “inappropriate” communications with a student.
Police said they launched their probe after receiving information May 22 about communications during the 2023–2024 school year.
According to police, the investigation is in its early stages.

Police are not releasing the employee’s name or title, or details about the communications due to the ongoing nature of their probe, police said.
“The New Milford Police Department Detective Bureau is conducting a thorough investigation into the allegations and will continue to follow all available leads,” police said.

Police deferred questions about the person’s employment status to the Board of Education. School officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment Friday.
