New Milford Police to Participate in National Drug Take Back Day

NEW MILFORD, CT — The New Milford PD will be participating in National Drug Take Back Day, this Saturday, April 27.

Officers will be at the police station at 49 Poplar Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., accepting unused prescriptions and leftover or expired over-the-counter medication to be destroyed by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Last year's Take Back Day brought in more than 900,000 pounds of meds, nationwide.
