New Milford Police Search For Hit-And-Run Driver
The SUV slammed into a bridge and a fence on Feb. 7.

NEW MILFORD, CT — New Milford police are asking for the public's help in finding an SUV that slammed into a bridge and a fence on Feb. 7 and drove away, according to a post on the department's Facebook page.
The incident occurred at about 3:14 p.m. on Aspetuck Ridge Road near Sand Road. At the time, road conditions were a bit slippery due to light snow that covered the pavement.
"The vehicle is a dark colored, small SUV," wrote police in the below Facebook post. "The female operator exited the vehicle to retrieve vehicle parts."
